The Model DL-80 lockrod cam and keeper lock is the newest products from Blaylock Trailer Products. The lock is designed for cargo, stock, vehicle and utility trailers, as well as tractor trailers and ocean containers.

The DL-80 is designed to protect the contents of enclosed cargo trailers. It will secure most rear doors and front personnel doors, and fits both vertical and horizontal lockrods.

Made from heavy duty aircraft aluminum, the DL-80 will not rust. A push button lock secures the hardened plated steel pin. A perimeter gasket eliminates scratching and vibration noise when mounted on trailer.

This new lock not only covers the keeper hole used with regular padlocks, but also covers the bolt head at the top and bottom of the keeper, to prevent being knocked off by a chisel.

The lock tumbler push button is protected by being recessed into the thick metal area that conceals the lock mechanism. The locking pin has a pull ring for easy pin removale. For extra security, the ring is designed to break loose if pulled by anything other than a finger, such as a metal bar or large screwdriver.

The pull ring can also be used to store the lock bracket on a hook inside the trailer when not in use. Reinsert the pin and push to the lock position for hanging. 

I wanted to test the DL-80 myself. So I grabbed a unit out of stock, and threw it in the deep freeze.
2.5 hours later, I put some heavy hits on it.
